The Opportunity
You will belong to an international connected team of specialists helping our clients with their most complex information security needs and contributing toward their business resilience.
You will work with a team of cyber security experts to lead, manage and deliver incident response engagement assisting our client in time of emergency to respond to cyber security incident.
Your Key Responsibilities
This role will work alongside with clients across different industries and border EY team to assist client in addressing their concerns around potential and actual breach of their technology, business systems, and information assets.
Using a pragmatic and industry recognized approach to work together with client’s IT team to respond to cyber security breach which involves deployment of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, collections of system artefacts, reconstruction of event timeline and containment.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Able to inspire, manage and lead a team of experienced security consultants to carry out high quality and insightful digital forensic investigations and incident response engagements in highly complex environments.
Lead and manage incident response measures to ensure threats are accurately assessed, contained, mitigated and reported.
Oversee the monitoring, analysis and triaging of security events.
Identify and propose realistic solutions and improvements for complex issues.
Develop innovative solutions for clients on a variety of local and international engagements.
Actively identify and support business development opportunities across existing or future client work.
Familiar with managing a project budget and able to balance between quality client outcomes, expected timeframes and being on budget.
Strong believer in diversity and inclusiveness.
To Qualify for the role, you must have:
A recognized university degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering with prior experience in Consulting and at least 5 years of IT security and risk experience in the consulting environment, with significant experience in digital forensic, incident response, business development, client relationship management, and team management.
Practical knowledge and experience in one or more of the following Information Security domains: Security Operations and Monitoring, Digital Forensic, Security Incident Management and Response, Identity & Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, DevSecOps This experience should include both advisory, implementation and operation experience.
Understanding of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technologies – Microsoft Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), CrowdStrike Falcon, VMware Carbon Black, Sentinel etc..
In-depth business acumen and demonstrate the ability to assimilate cyber concepts quickly.
Good knowledge on new developments in cyber services capabilities and industry knowledge.
Good working knowledge of information security principles, techniques and standards.
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM, GCIH, GCFA, GCFE, GREM or other relevant qualifications.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present ideas and results to technical and non-technical audiences.
