Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Logistics Pricing Specialist located in Singapore.
The Logistics Pricing Specialist will be responsible for analysing and developing pricing strategies, preparing quotations, and managing pricing requests.
The role involves collaboration with sales teams to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
Additionally, the specialist will be expected to maintain customer service standards by addressing pricing inquiries and issues promptly and effectively as well as collaborate closely with the customer service team.
Job Scope:
- Attend to customers' inquiries via email
- Analyse customers' requirements, prepare air & sea quotations
- Ensure shipping activities are communicated with customers & operations teams
- Develop excellent relationship with Customers
- Ability to provide alternative solutions in the event of shipment delay or cancellation
- Ensure all billing are complete timely
- Ensure customer payments are up-to date
- Prepare monthly sale and management reports
Requirements:
- Strong Analytical Skills for developing and assessing pricing strategies
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills
- Experience in Pricing & a bit of Sales
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and computer savvy
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics, or related field is preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in Freight Forwarding Business
- Proficiency in English (mandatory) and Mandarin (preferred)
- Good knowledge of Sea Import & Export documentation and operational procedures
Working Location and Hours
Working remotely - laptop is required
5 working days with 1 Saturday monthly on duty
