Position: ICT / Public Address (PA) Trainer
Contract Period: 1 January 2026 – 31 December 2026
Location:21 Tampines Street 45 Singapore
Working Hours
- Mondays – Thursdays: 8:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. (including 45 minutes lunch)
- Fridays: 8:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. (including 45 minutes lunch)
- Total: 42 hours per week
- Generally, service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays, unless otherwise notified.
Scope of Services
The ICT / PA Trainer will be responsible for developing and conducting technology-based training programmes and providing technical support for ICT and PA systems.
1.
ICT Training Responsibilities
- Conduct structured computing programmes on:
- Coding: Swift Playgrounds, Scratch, Micro:bit, Makecode Arcade.
- App Development: Thunkable, GameSalad.
- 3D Printing: Tinkercad, SketchUp.
- Design: Canva, Figma.
- Maker Tools: Cricut Design Space.
- Graphics: Inkscape.
- AI/ML/VR: Apple Reality Composer, Google Teachable Machine, 360 Tour.
- Deliver programmes on Learning with iPad as part of the 1:1 Personalised Learning Device Programme (PDLP).
- Deliver ICT programmes on Learning Management Systems: Student Learning Space, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Apple Classroom.
- Train on Edtech tools such as gamification, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR).
- Co-facilitate lower secondary Project Work in coding using the Design Thinking framework.
- Procure, maintain, and manage IT tools and software for ICT programmes, workshops, and project work.
- Design lessons and conduct maker workshops for teachers, students, parents, and the public.
- Maintain makerspaces at the school library and iSTEM STUDIO.
- Provide IT training workshops for teachers to integrate Edtech tools in teaching and learning.
- Support in-house video production and editing using Final Cut Pro.
- Assist in corporate gift production using 3D printing, laser cutting, and Cricut.
Note: Makerspace is a collaborative space for tinkering, making, learning, exploring, and prototyping using maker tools.2. Public Address (PA) System Responsibilities
- Assist PA CCA teachers-in-charge in student training and provide PA system support for school events and functions.
- Support the Operations Manager in maintaining the school's PA system.
- Set up and host live streaming and events using OBS software.

Additional Duties
- Assist HOD/ICT, Subject Head/ICT, and ICT Manager in daily ICT routines, operations, and assigned tasks.
- Assist Principal/Vice Principals with assigned duties.
Qualifications & SkillsExperience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in designing and conducting coding and makerspace workshops.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience training students to operate PA systems for events.
Qualification
- ITE / Diploma in IT-related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
Digital Literacy Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in teaching and using:
- App Development: MakeCode, GameSalad.
- 3D Printing: Tinkercad, SketchUp.
- Design: Canva, Figma.
- Maker Tools: Cricut Design Space.
- Graphics: Inkscape.
- Programming: Scratch, Micro:bit, Makecode Arcade, Swift Playgrounds.
- Productivity Tools: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Apple ecosystem tools.
- Creative Tools: Video/photo editing (Final Cut Pro).
- Collaborative Tools: Kahoot, Padlet, Goodnotes Classroom.
- Gamification, AR, VR Tools: Reality Composer, Google Teachable Machine, 360 Tour creation.
- Knowledge of Apple hardware and Personal Learning Device (iPad) ecosystem.
- Ability to teach operating PA systems and broadcasting tools (OBS).
- Skills to conduct maker workshops and operate maker tools.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $1, $3,000.00 per month
Education:
- Postgraduate Diploma/Certificate (Preferred)
Experience:
- ITE ,designing , coding , operate PA systems: 2 years (Preferred)
- Digital , 3D Printing , Apps development , graphics : 2 years (Preferred)
- AR and VR tools ,: 2 years (Preferred)
