Role Purpose
To manage and support infrastructure and DevOps project lifecycles, operations, and services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, service excellence, and compliance with industry standards.
This role acts as a bridge between cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
Manage infrastructure and DevOps project lifecycles from initiation, planning, execution, to closure ensuring on-time, on-budget, and within-scope delivery.
Prepare and maintain project plans, risk registers, resource allocation, and progress reports for management and customers.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (Infra, Cloud, Security, Application, Network) for seamless project execution.
Track project KPIs and deliverables, escalate risks/issues, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Establish, implement, and monitor ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Service Request Management).
Define and enforce governance frameworks, service standards, and compliance with ISO, ITIL, and security policies.
Monitor service performance against SLAs and OLAs, prepare monthly service reviews with stakeholders.
Ensure continuous service improvement (CSI) by Analyzing performance trends and driving operational efficiency.
Collaborate with customers to capture requirements, manage expectations, and ensure service quality.
Act as escalation point for high-severity incidents, lead incident war rooms, ensure structured communication, and drive quick restoration of services.
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents, ensure corrective and preventive actions are tracked and implemented.
Establish and maintain incident communication protocols for both internal teams and external customers.
Conduct incident post-mortems and ensure learnings feed into service/process improvements.
Oversee infra and middleware operations (Linux, VMware/KVM, Apache, JBoss) across on-prem and cloud (AWS, Azure) environments.
Conduct capacity planning, resource forecasting, and infrastructure cost optimization.
Define and validate Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BCP) plans.
Support security audits, compliance checks, and vulnerability management.
Maintain technical and operational documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
Provide clear project/service reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
Facilitate collaboration and coordination between multiple vendors, partners, and government stakeholders.
Stay current with emerging infra technologies, DevOps practices, and service delivery models; assess support when required applicability for adoption.
Participate in 24x7 standby/on-call.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT or related field (preferred).
Working Experience Requirements
8 - 10 years of experience in infra operations, DevOps, and project/service/incident management.
Strong Incident, Problem, and Service Management capabilities with proven stakeholder management skills.
Track record of delivering complex projects in infra/cloud/DevOps environments.
Skills Required
Must-have skills
SME knowledge in DevOps practices and hypervisor technologies (VMware, KVM, etc.).
Strong exposure to Red Hat RHEL, Middleware (Apache/JBoss), and virtualization at scale.
ITIL certification (v3 or v4) required.
Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure) with certifications preferred.
Familiarity with DevOps toolchains (Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform) Optional.
PMP certification strongly Desired.
