(What the role is)
We are seeking an experienced technical professional to join our Cybersecurity Platform Operations team.
As an Infrastructure Operations & Support Specialist, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with team coordination responsibilities, guiding a team of Cybersecurity Operation Engineers (COEs) in implementing and maintaining MAS's security infrastructure.
(What you will be working on)
Technical guidance
- Lead and guide a team of Cybersecurity Operation Engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure security systems
- Develop and review security architectures, incorporating 'Security by Design' principles throughout the system development lifecycle
- Design and implement security systems that align with organisational policies and industry best practices
- Lead technical incident response and provide escalation support
- Analyse and recommend mitigation strategies for cybersecurity risks in both cloud and on-premise environments
Security Management
- Support cybersecurity risk assessments and audits to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities by providing the necessary evidence(s)
- Deliver cybersecurity projects, including stakeholder engagement, feasibility studies, and effectiveness monitoring
- Transform business requirements into technical solutions, with a focus on security objectives and functional requirements
- Ensure the various security systems are deployed to the endpoints(servers/workstations) and the security systems itself are being monitored closely for any service failure
Team Development
- Support team members by sharing technical expertise, offering guidance in security operations, and promoting continuous learning through collaboration and problem-solving
- Drive innovative solutions while maintaining meticulous planning and implementation standards
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team
(What we are looking for)
Technical Expertise
- Must have at least 3 years CyberArk administrative experience - candidates without relevant CyberArk experience need not apply (other similar solutions are not acceptable)
- Hands-on experience in delivery of major infrastructure setup projects or technology refresh projects, including firewall requests, architecture design reviews, new server setup, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards
- Proven experience in conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and audits
- Proficiency in security system architecture design and review
- Practical experience with security monitoring tools and incident response
- Understanding of Government IM8 policy would be added advantage
