Role & Responsibilities
- Take ownership of assigned application products and manage operational aspects such as patching, application support, and upgrades.
- Set up and manage enterprise containerized environments (e.g., WebSphere servers in HA mode, post-setup patching).
- Support and maintain enterprise-scale container architectures
- Participate in architecture discussions with build teams, providing input on integration points (e.g., Web Services, MQ, SFTP).
- Design, implement, and administer enterprise Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift, Tanzu, Cloud Foundation).
- Manage container lifecycle: provisioning, images, repositories, and container-centric service deployment.
- Support and maintain enterprise web and microservices-based architectures.
- Implement and operate DevSecOps practices and automation processes.
- Handle core operational processes:
- OS and application-level patching
- Backup, recovery, archival, and housekeeping
- Security hardening, scanning, compliance, and posture improvements
Top 3 Skills
- Hands-on experience in designing & implementing enterprise container applications on Kubernetes/Tanzu/OpenShift.
- Strong working knowledge of integration products like IBM MQ (setup, administration, troubleshooting, queues, queue managers, channels).
- Experience maintaining large-scale enterprise online web and microservices architectures.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Agile methodology, CI/CD tools, and supporting delivery lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Elastic ELK stack (administration, query development, Kibana dashboards).
- Understanding of end-to-end web application architectures (SSO, web servers, app servers, databases).
- Exposure to operational delivery of enterprise architectures (patching, monitoring, automation).

- Open to candidates with experience in either Kubernetes or Middleware.
