About the role
We are looking for an Infrastructure Team Lead to drive the reliability and scalability of Chainstack’s production systems.

You will lead a team responsible for ensuring our user-facing services and core infrastructure run smoothly.

Your focus will be on building and mentoring a world-class team while working across multiple cloud providers.

You will spearhead efforts to achieve near-perfect reliability and service quality.


Responsibilities
Lead the Infrastructure Team in the LATAM time zone.


Own infrastructure reliability and scalability.


Drive reliability initiatives and represent infrastructure activities across teams.


Provide strategic vision and technical guidance to the infrastructure engineering team.


Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex infrastructure challenges.


Improve and implement processes for better efficiency.


Cover on-call shifts during PTO and sick leaves.


Hire, train, and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence.


Requirements
3+ years of experience leading infrastructure engineering or operations teams.


Experience running a large-scale platform.


Strong decision-making skills in cross-functional infrastructure initiatives.


Technical expertise in Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).


Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is mandatory.


Experience with RDMS and NoSQL databases.


Experience in bare metal infrastructure management.


Ability to write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi.


Ability to collaborate across teams and with external stakeholders.


Experience working with senior executives (C-level).


Proven experience managing distributed remote teams.


Passion for scalable and reproducible engineering practices.


Enthusiasm for mentorship and continuous learning.


Must be in the LATAM time zone.
