Overview

The Instructional Designer is responsible for developing engaging, effective, and learner-centered training solutions to support organizational learning objectives.

This role involves analyzing learning needs, designing curriculum and content, and evaluating learning effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Assess training needs through research, stakeholder interviews, and learner analysis.

  • Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, manuals, and assessments.

  • Develop storyboards, scripts, and prototypes for learning solutions.

  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and ensure accuracy.

  • Use authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Rise) to build digital courses.

  • Implement learning solutions on Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
