Interior Design Project Manager (Mid-Level)
Location: Singapore (On-site / Hybrid)
We are seeking a Project Manager with proven experience in interior design and construction management to lead residential and commercial fit-out projects.
This role suits someone who is highly organised, proactive, and detail-driven, comfortable taking ownership of multiple projects, anticipating problems, and ensuring quality from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage interior design projects from planning to handover.
- Coordinate with designers, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Supervise site execution with millimetre precision and design accuracy.
- Ensure construction meets design intent and market standards.
- Compare vendor quotes and prepare cost estimates and purchase lists.
- Resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain clear documentation of revisions, approvals, and variation orders.
- Provide regular project updates and progress reports.
- Ensure cost-effective, high-quality project execution.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- 3–5 years of experience in interior project management/fit-out in Singapore is preferred; otherwise, general project managers should have at least 3 consequtive years of experience.
- Strong understanding of drawings, materials, and site coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUpis an advantage, not a must.
- Savvy with MS Excel and PowerPoint is mandatory.
- Ability to use AI tools to self-solve, improve accuracy, documentation, and workflow speed.
- Capable of managing quotations, vendor comparisons, and purchase follow-ups.
- Possession of a personal vehicle is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience with people management and client/vendor handling skills.
- Driven, accountable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
