**CORPORATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM**

You'll gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of hotel operations and hospitality from a corporate view.

You'll build skills to help prepare you to develop a career path.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

The intern will work with Marriott’s Area Operations, Singapore & Maldives team and based in the Singapore office.

The intern will assist in projects, and supporting initiatives related to hotel operations.

Key responsibilities include:

+ Market research on new/recent projects
+ Participate in hotel and market visits
+ Take ownership of operational projects such as guest satisfaction, pre-openings
+ Create and format presentation decks using PowerPoint
+ Perform basic analysis using Excel and other relevant analytical tools
+ Coordinate data / information collection with different teams
+ Manage and respond to e-mails in an effective, organized and professional way
+ Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and follow company policies and procedures
+ Assist supervisor in facilitating appointments
+ Assist team members other than your direct supervisor as needed
+ Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

**JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**

+ Display strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in handling data
+ Be initiative, proactive, creative and have the ability to “think outside the box”
+ Be responsible, well-organized and systematic in dealing with assignments
+ Be flexible and adaptable to change and have awareness on different cultures in the region
+ Organizing skill for associate workshops/events, capability to co-ordinate with different departments and exchange with hotels operations' team.
+ Have a good command of English – spoken and written
+ Pro activeness and independence.
+ Have good interpersonal and communication skills - able to work in a team
+ Tech savvy - proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Tableau PowerPoint and Outlook

**QUALIFICATION STANDARD**

+ **Education:**
+ Undergraduate in Hospitality Management
+ **Requirements**
+ Singaporean, Singapore Permanent Resident Holder or valid student pass / work holiday pass
+ Eligible for undergraduate in a Singapore registered university program / uundergraduate or graduate of a university in Singapore, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom or United States.
+ Prepared to commit to a six months’ internship
+ **Grooming:**
+ All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Marriott standards.
