About the Team
As an EV actuarial intern, you will work with a group of professionals in insurance, actuarial, finance and risk management team.
We have a strong dynamic EV team focusing on financial reporting which involves data and analysis, forecasting and modelling to assess the company's financial position.
Focus of the internship
EV actuarial intern will develop a strong technical actuarial knowledge while gaining hands on exposure in financial and data analysis.
You will learn how to measure the value of company using actuarial concept and improve communication skill through working with different stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
- Streamlining EV Process: Involve in refining and optimising the EV process.
Work closely with actuarial team members to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and leverage cutting-edge methodologies to elevate our value assessment.
- Unleash Analytical Potential: Collaborate with our experienced actuarial team members to perform EV and Value of New Business (VNB) analysis.
Get hands-on exposure to value company's financial metrics as well as insurance liabilities and explore the fascinating world of actuarial modeling.
- Thriving on Challenges: Prepare to embark on a journey of intellectual curiosity and problem-solving.
As an integral of our team, you'll have the opportunity to solve ad-hoc projects that have a real impact on our business, while receiving professional guidance along the way.
Key Learnings:
Gaining Exposure to Actuarial Modeling/Software: Familiarize yourself with industry-standard actuarial modeling tools and software including MS Excel, DCS, Prophet, Alteryx etc.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- Academic Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, or a related field
- Curiosity for Actuarial Science: An insatiable curiosity for Actuarial Science and a natural flair for financial investigation.
- Data Handling Expertise: Proficiency in handling data using tools such as MS Office, VBA, Alteryx.
- Heart for Communication: Embrace the willingness to learn and grow in communication, enabling you to effectively present financial insights
