Operations Support - Intern
Understand fuel-only customer shopping behavior and customer journey and identify pain points on why they do not purchase Convenience Store items Recommend solutions (beyond marketing /promotional campaigns) which encourage fuel only customers to shop in Convenience Store. Support business unit in pulling out financial data and share findings and observation. Brainstorm improvement solution to improve financial metrics with Area Manager and implement them in station. Understand online business from both operational and consumer perspective and identify opportunities to improve sales and operational metrics Corp Operations (FPX) - Intern
Understand the stock allocation end-to-end process and Identify pain points by monitoring and understanding allocation orders and schedule Recommend Solutions to minimize pain points identified above and develop allocation efficiency performance tracking report Facilitate the operations of convenience stores with Food Services and unmanned Technology Identify learnings and areas of improvements Facilitate improving customer experience in a convenience store Understand how the POS system works in-store and carry out cashiering duties (hands-on) in-store to experience how the store (Corps/Xpress) usually works for that part. Understand the back-end system, and how it works (for example, how to do ordering of stocks, etc) checking of stocks using the PDA system. Understand how merchandising works in-store (Pricing, Color coding, facing, etc), and learn from different BICs who have expertise in this field. Revise entire Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)for the company.
