RegCo Roles:
Strategic Planning Office
Brief Overview:
The Strategic Planning Office (SPO)s remit is to improve RegCos effectiveness through a whole-of-regulation approach.
Key activities include (i) horizon-scanning to detect and anticipate developing and incipient trends in the regulatory space, (ii) coordinating with other RegCo teams to identify and prioritise areas of focus, and facilitate the planning process that sets the basis for work planning and the development of roadmaps for the medium to long term, (iii) working alongside the communications team on public communications.
Learning Objectives:
The selected intern will learn how SGXs regulatory arm reviews and develops regulatory policies to meet the needs of the market.
The selected intern will be exposed to different facets of SGXs business and long term strategic initiatives as SPO works concurrently on multiple projects with various internal and external stakeholders.
