The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products.
The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates.
The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Job Description:
- Assist with risk-based audit, evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of systems of internal controls of the Group businesses
- Provide risk assurance through testing the effectiveness of risk controls
- Recommend business-focused solutions to mitigate risks, improve internal controls, risk management, and governance processes, and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of operations
- Maintain proper documentation of findings and follow up closely with the business units to ensure prompt and substantive resolutions
- Conduct special audits, ad-hoc investigations, and reviews as and when required, in areas that need specific safeguards and appropriate internal controls
- Adapt and react quickly to changing needs and business decisions
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Operations or Business Management
- Self-driven individual who is adaptable to changing priorities and different challenges and thrives in a dynamic environment
- Ability to influence and interact confidently and develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders, management, and multi-disciplinary staff across different levels.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and good report writing and presentation skills with strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team player with excellent analytical skills to manage detailed/technical work without losing sight of 'big picture' issues
- SQL skills are good to have
