Objective
The objective of this role is to manage the SDLC of New Features/Change Request of software systems within the department that support both the business and the internal teams.
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Internal Software Project Manager to manage and coordinate the software development lifecycle (SDLC) (new features and change requests) for existing systems that support both business operations and technical teams.
This role focuses on translating business requirements into actionable technical deliverables, managing and communication with resources, ensuring quality releases, and improving internal work processes.
You will work closely with developers, QA, product owners, and business units to plan, track, and deliver enhancements with efficiency and precision.
Job Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end SDLC, from requirements gathering and development tracking to testing, deployment, and post-release review.
Clarify and define clear requirement goals, establish priorities, and present solutions to stakeholders.
Translate requirements into clear technical language or illustration for the development team, strengthening understanding and execution capabilities.
Communicate and coordinate across departments to synchronise project objectives, timeline, information and status.
Plan and oversee project execution, identifying and mitigating risks that could impact delivery or business operations, while ensuring timely, high-quality completion and regular progress updates to stakeholders.
Assist as Release Manager to orchestrate production release and system monitoring to ensure smooth delivery and business continuity
Prepare, review and maintain project documentation, including technical design, project development plans, risk analysis.
Skill & Experience Requirements
Strong logical and analytical thinking, high stress tolerance, attention to detail, and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Minimum 2 years of experience in software project management or coordination.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (written and spoken).
Candidates fluent in Mandarin are highly preferred as roles require candidates to communicate with Mandarin speaking clients and stakeholders.
Familiar with SDLC processes, Git branching workflows, and basic CI/CD deploymentunderstanding.
Experience working with developers, QA, and product teams in a cross-functional environment.
Programming background or prior hands-on development experience is preferred.
Experience handling or integrating third-party payment systems is a plus.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Lark, MS Office) is advantages
