As a Credit Risk Modelling Intern within Group Risk Management, you'll contribute to the development and validation of cutting-edge risk scoring systems and gain valuable hands-on experience with large datasets.

What you do
You'll be directly involved in:

  • Gaining insights into credit risk models and how to analyze portfolios for credit risk assessment in a banking context.
  • Developing hands-on skills in handling large volumes of data in a structured manner.
  • Developingmunication skills in structuring and presenting technical information effectively.
  • Supporting the next-generation Risk Scoring System and next-generation Wholesale Credit Rating System projects.
  • Implementing and maintaining credit risk models supporting the Small Business, Consumer, and Wholesale segments of the Group.
  • Performing system user acceptance testing and data quality checks to ensure the robustness of credit risk models.

  • Who you work with
    Group Risk Management works independently to protect, build, and drive our businesses.

    The team supports good decision-making with strong risk analysis and plays a crucial role in sharpening ourpetitive edge.

    Optimizing risk-adjusted returns, seeking and adopting best-in-class practices, protecting the group from unforeseen losses, and keeping risk within appetite are all key responsibilities.

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, ideally in a quantitative field (, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics).
  • Demonstrates a strong interest in credit risk modelling and data analysis.
