Location:

Salary:
- Monthly - $1,000 to $1,400
- $20 laundry allowance.
Cafe Operating hours:
- 8am to 8.00pm (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
Working Hours:
- Able to work from 8am to 8pm.
- 5 days per week including public holidays.
(Wednesday to Sunday)
- 1 hour lunch and 1 hour dinner break for full day shifts.
(Unpaid)
- Shift Break Timings: Lunch: 11.30am - 12.30pm/ 12pm - 1pm, Dinner: 4.30pm - 5.30pm/5pm - 6pm.
Qualifications:
- Valid Food safety course certification.
- Minimum Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma certification.
- At least 1 year experience in operations and baking.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and a love for baking.
- Friendly, positive, dedicated and eager to contribute to a fun, growing cafe.
Operations Manager Job description:
- Oversee Cafe operations.
- Ensure overall safety and hygiene of Café work areas.
- Ensure staff adhere to NEA standards and guidelines on food hygiene (handling & storage)
- Which includes and not limited scheduling of staff
- Oversee inventory and management of food materials & waste, which includes and not limited to ordering of food / materials, usage to ensure minimal wastage, proper disposal of food waste etc.
- Oversee equipment inventory and its proper maintenance and working condition.
- Manage internal orders for events and does not limit to this and can change according to business needs and will be discussed and agreed prior to any changes.
Baker Job Description
- Bake & prepare breads & cakes from scratch ensuring quality and consistency in every item.
- Ensure bakes meet SOP set by the cafe visually and taste wise.
- Work with precision to follow recipes and instructions, while maintaining creative flexibility for seasonal and special items.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in the kitchen, including proper handling of ingredients and tools by following SOP.
- Work closely with our front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a small, close-knit team with good time management for bakes.
- Help with inventory and ensure ingredients are stocked, stored correctly, and rotated properly.
- Maintain housekeeping standards at all times in the cafe
to contribute to a fun, growing cafe.
