Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret conversations consecutively and accurately between English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
- Handle telephone or video calls on demand, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Use appropriate industry terminology and understand relevant procedures.
- Process information quickly, recognizing cultural nuances and maintaining neutrality.
- Support diverse subject areas including Healthcare, Government, Insurance,
- Finance, Utilities, Travel, Hospitality, Emergency Services, Law Enforcement, Courts and General Business.
Qualifications:
- 'O' Levels or Diploma or higher qualification is required.
- Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills with high accuracy.
- Strong ability to stay objective, neutral, and professional during conversations.
- Proven ability to follow client instructions and establish credibility.
- Skilled at explaining cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication when required.
- B2 CEFR English level with bilingual fluency in the required language(s).
