Overview
We are seeking a
proactive and versatile IoT Engineer
to support the deployment and maintenance of LoRaWAN-based sensors and gateways.
The role involves
testing, commissioning, and project coordination , as well as
supervising installers
and providing
after-sales technical support .
You will collaborate closely with both clients and internal teams to ensure successful IoT implementations for smart-building and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, install, test, and commission
IoT sensors and gateways.
Conduct
site visits
for installation, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
Supervise contractors and installers
to ensure correct configuration and deployment.
Perform
firmware updates, sensor calibration, and diagnostics
when required.
Provide
after-sales technical support
and ensure client satisfaction.
Assist in
basic scripting or automation tasks
using C/C++ or Python.
Coordinate with project teams to
ensure timely delivery and proper documentation .
Engage with clients to
understand requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues .
Requirements
Diploma or Degree
in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or IoT-related Engineering from a Polytechnic or University.
1–3 years of hands‐on experience
in IoT, electrical systems, or system commissioning.
Basic knowledge of
C/C++ or Python programming .
Familiar with
LoRaWAN technology and IoT device integration .
Proactive, team-oriented, and customer-focused
with strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates
project management and coordination capabilities .
Willing to
work on‐site
(indoor/outdoor) for commissioning and support activities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with
LoRaWAN gateways and device setup tools .
Knowledge of
network configuration (Wi‐Fi, Ethernet)
and troubleshooting.
Prior exposure to
smart building or industrial IoT projects .
