About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Engineer to provide technical support to government staff.
This role involves delivering prompt and effective resolution to IT issues, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite IT support across main and off-site locations, focusing on excellent customer service.
- Respond to service cases escalated by the helpdesk, ensuring timely updates, closure, and accurate service report documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Support software distribution, patch management, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Install and maintain inventory scanning agents and software distribution agents on IT assets.
- Reinstall scanning agents on devices flagged as non-responsive by asset administrators.
- Assist with hardware deployment, cloning, and agent reinstallation as necessary.
- Provide detailed reports of disposed assets for asset tracking.
- Maintain accurate documentation of supported equipment and IT services.
- Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and help improve support service quality.
Requirements:
- Minimum NITEC qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of relevant IT support experience.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong customer service orientation and troubleshooting skills
