Overview
The IT Infrastructure Consultant will provide expert consultancy, technical guidance, and solutions for enterprise IT infrastructure projects.
This role involves designing technical solutions for enterprise customers and tenders/RFPs, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in infrastructure operations, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule while adhering to quality and security standards.
The consultant will also manage a small team, coordinate cross-functional activities, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
Provide IT infrastructure consultancy, technical guidance, and expertise.
Independently design technical solutions for enterprise customer requirements and tender/RFP processes.
Serve as an SME in infrastructure areas, offering in-depth analysis, escalation support, and operational insights.
Ensure IT infrastructure projects are delivered and maintained on schedule, in compliance with quality and security standards.
Manage team activities, including pre-activity planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Lead a team of 2–3 members, overseeing performance reviews, mentoring, and career development.
Coordinate cross-functional activities with business and technical teams to deliver effective, high-quality solutions.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Networking Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and security operations, processes, and services.
Certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, Cloud, or related fields are advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Optional Skills
Familiarity with government security standards, including security compliance checks and vulnerability scanning.
Knowledge of IM8 policies.
