Due to expansion, we are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Assistant Manager / Manager to support the strategic planning, coordination, and implementation of technology systems across the organisation.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects, including ERP system implementations and upgrades.
- Liaise with external IT service providers and outsourcing partners to ensure service delivery, SLA compliance, and project timelines.
- Identify and apply for relevant IT-related government grants; manage end-to-end grant submission, documentation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with various departments to align IT initiatives with business goals and operational needs.
- Provide second-level support for IT issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
- Maintain and improve IT infrastructure, systems security, and compliance.
- Document system processes, configurations, and user guides to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Monitor IT budgets, procurement, and vendor performance in collaboration with the IT Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience
- Experience with ERP system implementations
- Familiarity with government IT grant schemes
- Strong experience working with IT outsourcing vendors and service management
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders under tight timelines
