System / Network Engineer (Maintenance)

About the Role
You will be part of a maintenance team supporting system and network infrastructure as part of overall project implementation.
This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, executing system patches, and contributing to continuous system reliability and performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Use appropriate tools and execute maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance manuals.
- Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Implement system and cybersecurity patches to ensure security and compliance.
- Participate in technology refresh activities to enhance infrastructure capability.
- Execute configuration, asset, and change management processes.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Advanced certifications such as MCSE or RHCE preferred.
- Experience managing enterprise Linux (SUSE) and Windows Server environments in complex infrastructures.
- Strong understanding of high availability and fault-tolerant architectures, including clustering, load balancing, and failover mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience in SQL database maintenance.
- Familiarity with network protocols, remote administration, routing, switching, and firewall configuration, especially Palo Alto, McAfee, and Checkpoint appliances.
- Experience with SAN storage solutions and Network Time Protocol (NTP) synchronization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Server+, or ITIL Foundation will be advantageous.
