Overview
My client is a Shipping MNC with global presence, they are currently hiring for an IT Operations Executive to join their Tech team and be responsible for daily IT operations and technical support.
Responsibilities
Deliver effective technical solutions to resolve user issues, reduce recurrence, and enhance productivity.
Manage IT assets such as laptops, mobile devices, and audio/visual equipment, ensuring proper hardware upkeep, patching, and compliance.
Take proactive measures to prevent both planned and unplanned outages, minimizing service interruptions.
Support a modern, reliable IT environment by identifying outdated technologies and coordinating timely upgrades or replacements.
Provide AV and IT support for departmental events.
Promote the company’s cloud-first approach by improving the adoption and use of Google Workspace (GWS) and related tools.
Provide IT support to internal departments, including sourcing quotes, preparing onboarding materials, and setting up software and hardware.
Work closely with Groupware, Infrastructure, Security, and other teams to test, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
1–2 years of experience in IT operations or technical support.
Strong troubleshooting and technical skills for daily issue resolution.
Ability to collect and analyze information effectively.
Hands-on knowledge of various software, hardware, and applications.
Proactive, solution-driven mindset with the ability to see projects through to completion.
Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and record analysis.
Collaborative, team-oriented approach to assisting colleagues and departments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
