IT Solutions Architect (Contract)
Job Purpose
The candidate will be responsible for the IT Solutions Architect scope of our software application product development work and for completing projects on time within budget, quality, and scope.
He/she will coordinate with other business units, vendors, and partners to ensure all aspects of the IT Solutions Architect responsibilities are delivered.
Responsibilities
Report to the assigned Reporting Manager.
Support the Project Manager and team in the assigned project(s).
Responsible for supporting and operating the SMRT Project Management team.
Manage and ensure project needs and issues are handled accordingly and timely.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Work Experience
Degree in Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst.
Proven track record of implementing new software application projects.
Experience in developing BA tender specifications.
Skills
Good knowledge of IT solutions landscape, Project Management, and Vendor Management.
Ability to communicate effectively and add value to IT infrastructure, application development, IT security, and compliance.
Lead brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions for business needs or problems.
Identify opportunities for process improvements.
Prepare and document testing requirements.
Knowledge of low-code platforms, cloud applications, and solutions.
Experience with projects using Agile methodology.
Identify areas where IT can be adopted to support business needs and goals.
Collaborate with business units to develop IT strategies and improve current IT implementations.
Build and migrate software and services across the organization.
Work with product and delivery teams to develop scalable solutions and products.
Maintain excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and consult with vendors and internal stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions.
Work independently under pressure to meet system performance service levels.
Be self-motivated and demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills.
Show strong teamwork and a good personality.
