Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Support Engineer - Team Lead to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a wide range of IT operations, from desktop support to backend system maintenance across Windows and Apple platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Setup and maintain desktops, laptops, phones, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices (Windows & macOS platforms)
- Provide both remote and onsite technical support to multiple office locations
- Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Escalate unresolved issues to 2nd/3rd level support or third-party vendors as necessary
- Provision new users with hardware, software, and access accounts
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage IT assets at assigned sites
- Provide VPN setup and support for remote users
- Assist in setting up AV equipment for meetings and ensure meeting rooms are operating optimally
- Support backend needs for live broadcasts and events
- Work closely with internal support teams (client support, server, application teams)
- Manage and administer Active Directory: user provisioning, permissions, access control, and group policies
- Participate in and support hardware/software rollouts and other IT projects
- Document IT operational processes and user guides as needed
- Provide end-user training and assist in project implementation
- Attend meetings and trainings to stay aligned with company goals and technological updates
- Perform procurement tasks (quotations, RMAs, vendor liaison) and track delivery status
- Lead and manage a small IT support team, providing mentorship, task assignment, and performance guidance
- Ensure excellent communication and customer service to employees via in-person, phone, and email channels
Job Requirements:
- Min Nitec in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support roles
- At least 1 year of experience in IT/Communications project management
- Proficient in both Windows and Mac platforms
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Positive, self-motivated, and customer-oriented attitude
- Ability to lead small-scale projects and work independently
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
