We are seeking Junior Automation Engineers to contribute to the development, configuration, and support of DeltaV automation systems in a pharmaceutical GMP-regulated environment.
This role offers exposure to system development, testing, and lifecycle management, while working closely with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure compliant and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in design, development, and configuration of DeltaV distributed control system (DCS) applications (e.g., control modules, phases, batch logic).
- Assist in troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of existing automation systems.
- Support automation lifecycle activities including FAT/SAT, commissioning, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Contribute to change management , deviation support, and updates of functional/design specifications and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and Annex 11 requirements.
- Collaborate with process, QA, IT, and manufacturing teams to deliver automation solutions for production readiness and new product introductions.
- Drive continuous improvement and error-reduction initiatives , focusing on data integrity, cyber resiliency, and system reliability.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, or related).
- 1–2 years' experience in pharma/biotech automation with exposure to DeltaV development and support .
- Understanding of GMP, GAMP 5, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Collaborative mindset with eagerness to learn and grow.
