We are a Singapore-based company in library automation with head office in Shanghai, China.
Our team plays a critical role in installation and implementation of systems at project sites to support client's daily operations.
Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on and service-oriented Junior IT Technician to support our day-to-day operations.
This role is ideal for someone starting their IT career and eager to gain practical experience in hardware and software support, user troubleshooting, and IT infrastructure maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Set up, install, and configure hardware and software.
- Maintain and troubleshoot basic networking equipment (e.g., routers, switches).
- Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely manner.
- Help implement software updates, antivirus scans, and routine system checks.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT personnel or project manager when required.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and security standards.
Requirements
Qualifications :
- Polytechnic Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Candidates with 2-3 years of IT experience are welcome to apply.
Skills & Competencies :
- Knowledge in library and RFID system is an advantage.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese.
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.
- Familiar with basic networking concepts.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work as a team.
- Willingness to travel.
Employment Details
- Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent
- Working Hours: 44 hours per week, working hours follows project implementation timeline
(On-call or weekend support may be required ) - Salary Range: SGD 2,800-3,000/month (depending on experience)
- Work Pass Support: Open to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents only
