Position Overview
The Key Account Executive is responsible for managing strategic wholesale partnerships across Malaysia and Singapore to ensure smooth operational flow, sales growth, brand visibility, and market share.
The role requires a balance of account management, operational coordination, and analytical reporting, ensuring that key partners are consistently aligned with brand standards and commercial objectives.
The Key Account Executive works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business results while building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Relationship Building
- Act as a main point of contact for assigned key accounts, ensuring strong day-to-day relationship management.
- Drive customer engagement through regular meetings, business reviews, and joint business planning.
- Ensure alignment with account partners on seasonal strategies, order placement, and promotional activities.
Operational & Process Excellence
- Manage the full order-to-delivery cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and finance teams to manage and resolve order, delivery, and payment issues.
- Manage internal systems, including documentation uploads and regular housekeeping to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with agreed commercial terms, credit policies, and internal procedures.
Sales & Business Planning
- Manage sell-in and sell-out performance, inventory levels, and trend analysis and reporting, identifying opportunities to maximize revenue and margin.
- Support the development of seasonal sales forecasts and account plans in line with company objectives.
- Participate in wholesale GTM process, including proposal and presentations during sell-in sessions.
· Prepare reports and insights to support assortment planning, pricing strategy, and long-term growth.
Brand Execution & Retail Excellence
- Aligning with key accounts to adhere to brand guidelines across merchandising, product display, and retail execution.
- Coordinate with marketing teams on campaign rollouts, activations, visual merchandising and POSM support.
- Conduct store visits and prepare feedback reports to ensure optimal brand presentation and consumer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in account management, sales, or wholesale (preferably in sportswear, retail, or FMCG industries).
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of SAP systems is an advantage.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Passion for sports and lifestyle is a plus.
