L1 Support Engineer (IT Administrator) Job Opening In Singapore, Singapore – Now Hiring Sleek

Requirements

We are looking for a L1 Support Engineer (IT Administrator) that is excited about the below Mission and Outcomes.

Mission:

Ensure the security, stability, and efficiency of the company’s IT infrastructure by managing systems, networks, and user access, providing timely technical support, and implementing best practices to enable seamless business operations.

Outcomes:

  1. Establish regular syncs with department leads to understand tech needs.
  2. Introduce self as the point of contact for IT issues.
  3. Streamline onboarding/offboarding workflows with automation where possible.
  4. Standardize device setup procedures and create documented checklists.
  5. Start tracking KPIs like ticket resolution time, incident frequency, and uptime.
  6. Prepare a quarterly IT performance and risk report for management.
  7. Evaluate and improve network performance, storage solutions, and cloud services usage.
  8. Consolidate redundant tools or subscriptions to cut costs.
  9. Deliver at least one major IT project (e.g., migrating email systems, upgrading network, implementing a new SSO solution).
  10. Foster a security-first culture by embedding best practices into everyday workflows.

To do this, you will have a minimum of 2 years experience as technical support and you will be located in Singapore.

You will leverage your strong infrastructure and development skills in post-incident reviews to find the underlying cause of failures and prevent future incidents.

The Interview Process

The successful candidate will participate in the below interview stages.

We anticipate the process to last no more than 3 weeks from start to finish.

Whether the interviews are held over video call or in person will depend on your location and the role.

A ~30 minute chat with a Talent Acquisition Lead to discuss the role and your experience.

Case study

A ~60 minute chat with the Hiring Manager, where they will give you some real-life challenges that this role faces, and will ask for your approach to solving them.

Career deep dive

A ~60 minute chat with the Hiring Manager.

They’ll discuss your last 1-2 roles to understand your experience in more detail.

Behavioural fit assessment

A ~60 minute chat with a member of the HR or leadership team, where they will dive into some of your recent work situations to understand how you think and work.

Offer + reference interviews

We’ll make a non-binding offer verbally or over email, followed by a couple of short phone or video calls with references that you provide to us.
