Job Duties:
Manage Multi-Cloud Windows Operations
– Provide Level 2 operational support for Windows Servers across on-premises and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Perform System Administration
– Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, WSUS, and Windows clustering to ensure high system availability.
Execute OS Patch Management
– Conduct scheduled Windows Server patching using WSUS, SCCM, AWS Systems Manager, and Azure Update Management; monitor compliance and audit readiness.
Support Application Deployment
– Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications on Windows Server platforms; perform OS-level diagnostics and performance tuning.
Maintain ITIL Service Processes
– Handle incidents, service requests, and changes through ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira) while maintaining SLA compliance.
Implement Security and Compliance Controls
– Apply CIS hardening baselines, remediate vulnerabilities, and maintain IAM permissions following least-privilege principles.
Automate Operations
– Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and use cloud CLIs (AWS, Azure, GCP) to automate operational and remediation tasks.
Monitor and Optimize Systems
– Configure and manage cloud-native monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Cloud Monitoring) and proactively resolve performance issues.
Support Backup & Disaster Recovery
– Implement and validate cloud-based backup and recovery strategies, participate in DR testing, and document recovery procedures.
Maintain Documentation and Knowledge Base
– Create and update SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation to support operational excellence and knowledge sharing.
Job Requirements:
Education:
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years of hands‐on Windows administration and at least 2 years of cloud operations experience (AWS preferred).
Technical Expertise:
Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2016–2025) administration and Active Directory services.
Cloud Knowledge:
Experience managing Windows workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including EC2, S3, IAM, Azure VMs, and Compute Engine.
Patch Management:
Deep understanding of OS patching processes, tools, and compliance tracking.
Security Awareness:
Experience with CIS benchmarks, vulnerability remediation, and IAM access controls in secure environments.
Scripting Skills:
Proficiency in PowerShell and familiarity with AWS CLI, Azure CLI, and gcloud CLI.
ITIL Familiarity:
Working knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) and ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
Certifications (Preferred):
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent.
