Job description

Work Schedule: 5 Days a Week (Shift-based with Weekend Support as Required)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with hands-on expertise in network devices, firewalls, load balancers , and vulnerability management .

The ideal candidate will handle L2/L3 level troubleshooting , incident resolution , and network upgrades , ensuring smooth and secure network operations in an SLA-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience with networking devices (Switches, Routers, Load Balancers, Firewalls).

  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching .

  • Experience in vulnerability assessment (CVE analysis) and report preparation .

  • Ability to troubleshoot L2/L3 issues independently.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Flexible to work in shifts and during off-hours maintenance windows .

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls .

  • Manage incident resolution , root cause analysis , and problem-solving for L2/L3-level network issues.

  • Participate in network device upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.

  • Work in a SLA-bound environment ensuring timely delivery of network operations and issue resolution.

  • Conduct CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) assessments , prepare detailed reports, and present findings to multiple client stakeholders.

  • Support scheduled patching and upgrade tasks after business hours (post 6 PM) or on weekends, as per project requirements.

  • Provide shift-based support , including rotational shifts , ensuring round-the-clock network availability.

  • Collaborate with internal and client teams to maintain network security, uptime, and performance standards .

  • Adhere to change management and documentation processes for all network modifications.

Work Schedule

  • 5 working days per week (shift-based).

  • Occasionally required to work after 6 PM for patching or upgrade tasks.

  • Weekend support may be required for planned maintenance activities — off-in-lieu will be provided for weekend work.

  • Eligible to claim meals and taxi reimbursements during shift or late-hour work.
