About the role
Our company is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Facilities Engineer to join our team.
This full-time position will be based in the Woodlands North Region and will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of our clients facilities.
As the Lead Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our clients tools like scrubbers, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
What you'll be doing
- Communicate with clients.
Understand client needs and translate into solutions.
- Provide technical support /feedback to customers and suppliers.
- Lead equipment MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operation) activities with our current experienced team members.
- Control and manage process, quality and productivity,
- Perform periodic maintenance (PM) & corrective maintenance (CM).
- PDCA improvement projects to reduce equipment downtime.
- Lead CIP (Continuous Improvement Project).
- Equipment parts & spares inventory control
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards
- Collaborate with other departments to align facilities management with the company's overall business objectives
- Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Facilities Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
- Posses a positive attitude and sense of urgency.
Able to complete task without supervision.
- Willing to work in semiconductor sub fab for hours in personal protection equipment (PPE).
- PLC & Industrial Controller basics, Standards.
- Soft skills- willing to lead the team, communicate with teams members and clients.
- Good troubleshooting & problem solving skills
- Critical & Logical thinking.
- Willing to explore and apply data collection, analysis and visual.
- CAD drawing skills & Microsoft Office literacy.
Knowledge in IoT development skills & application will be an added advantage - Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and health/environmental standard
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Facilities Management in scrubber will be a added advantage
