The Role
The Lead Project Manager will drive complex projects and enhance project management processes within the Managed & Professional Services (M&P) department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent stakeholder management skills, technical expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud, network , security services and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and external vendors
The Main Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Develop and manage the project planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and delivery of cross-functional infrastructure projects, including data center upgrades and cloud and network migrations, ensuring they align with organizational objectives.Process Enhancement: Enhance processes by identifying opportunities to improve and streamline project management within the infrastructure domain, applying best practices to boost efficiency.Stakeholder Management: Develop and sustain robust relationships with key stakeholders, regularly communicating project status, risks, and dependencies.
Dependency Mapping: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and manage dependencies, ensuring smooth project execution and delivery.Project Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust timelines as needed to achieve project milestones.
Reporting: Compile and present comprehensive project reports to senior leadership, emphasizing key metrics, challenges, and accomplishments.Team Collaboration: Cultivate a collaborative environment among project teams of IT Engineers, Architects, Vendors and business leaders, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing to drive project success.Future Leadership: Establish yourself as a potential future leader in the project management function within M&P, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology, Business Administration or equivalent.Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a mustFamiliarity with ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies5–8 years of experience managing IT projects, including:IT infrastructure (servers, storage, data centers)Network architecture and operationsCloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Cybersecurity and compliance frameworksProven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional projects in a global environment from planning to close-out of projects.Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environmentTechnical knowledge of Data Center, Cloud, Networking, and Managed Security Services.Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.Adaptability – thrives in dynamic environments and adjusts to shifting priorities.Conflict resolution – handles disagreements constructively and maintains team cohesionExperience in process improvement and change management.Having Transition Management experience is a plusCompensation
