Join us at Temasek Polytechnic’s School of Design, an award-winning creative hub as a Lecturer for the Diploma in Digital Film & Television.

Since 1990, we’ve been at the forefront of design education, known for nurturing industry-ready talents and pushing the boundaries of creative excellence.

At Digital Film & Television, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting meaningful, real-world learning experiences that equip students with the skills, mindset, and vision to thrive in the media industry.

Successful candidates will :

· inspire and guide students through lectures, tutorials, consultations, and hands-on supervision of media projects , where creativity meets technology in powerful storytelling.

· focus on quality of lesson design and delivery through engaging teaching and learning strategies and methods, exploiting wherever possible, technology to promote learning

· help shape a future-ready curriculum through thoughtful development of content, assessments, and learning experiences that reflect real industry needs.

· actively engage with industry and professional bodies to stay abreast with and be responsive to changing trends in the profession and the educational landscape

· be mindful of and address the diverse learning needs of students in class and implement ways to holistically develop the potential of students through a range of interventions

· support lifelong learning by designing and leading professional workshops and continuing education programmes tailored for adult learners and industry upskilling.

[What we are looking for]

We’re looking for passionate media practitioners with a deep understanding of visual storytelling across digital platforms.

Individuals who are not only experienced, but also eager to mentor and inspire future-ready creatives in today’s fast-evolving media landscape.

You should have the heart of a mentor and the mind of a filmmaker, someone who can inspire, guide, and train students to meet the real-world demands of the creative industry.

If you're adaptable, forward-thinking, and always keeping pace with the latest trends in content creation and production (e.g Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence etc), we’d love to have you onboard.

The candidate should be:

  • An experienced media practitioner with at least 5–7 years of work experience in the local/global media industry, supported by a strong working portfolio of professional works.
  • A creative thinker with strong multimedia content development, management, and production skills.
  • Experience in Executive Producing, Directing, and/or Screenwriting would be advantageous.
  • An advocate of interdisciplinary collaborations.

    Candidates with strong industry links are preferred.
  • Experience with emerging technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR) or Artificial Intelligence (AI) in media production will be an added advantage.
