Overview
COMPANY DESCRIPTION We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore.

We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.

Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW)
Responsibilities
We are seeking a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) with at least Technician Grade certification to supervise and execute ‘Live' Low Voltage (LV) cable jointing works and ensure full compliance with regulatory and workplace safety requirements.

This role is critical in maintaining electrical integrity, safety, and efficiency across our infrastructure and project sites.


Supervision of Electrical Works
Supervise and perform 'Live' LV cable jointing (e.g., straight joints, terminations, pot ends, T-joints, removals).


Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and workplace procedures.


Tool & Equipment Compliance
Verify that all insulated tools, gloves, boots, and mats meet regulatory and SP standards.


Refuse or stop work when safety equipment is found to be incomplete or unsafe.


Permit & Documentation
Check that jointers have valid permits for cable jointing works.


Personally manage the Handing/Taking Over Certificates and endorse upon job completion.


Site Safety and Briefings
Conduct Tool Box Meetings (TBM) to brief jointers on job scope, hazards, and safety control measures.


Ensure safety setup: use of insulated barriers, PPE, and safe storage of materials.


Confirm cable identity before works begin and supervise phase/neutral jointing sequences.


Pilot Cable Works (as required)
Perform insulation and continuity tests, and fault location procedures.


Identify pilot cable routes, supervise cutting and termination.


Document and submit test results to the Superintending Officer.


Professional Conduct
Apply engineering judgement and professional discretion at all times.


Provide qualifications and experience during project tender processes.


Maintain performance standards as required by the company and regulatory bodies.


Qualifications
Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) - Technician Grade (8 or higher)
Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
3 to 4 years of relevant experience in electrical works supervision, especially in LV cable jointing
Possession of a valid Class 2 or 3 driving license is an advantage (to support site mobility).


Strong understanding of SP Group electrical work safety standards
Effective communication, documentation, and supervisory skills
Other Information
Work Schedule: 6-day work week.
