About the Role
As a Lift Engineer focused on annual inspections, you will play a key role in upholding elevator system safety and performance.
Your work ensures compliance with regulatory standards while protecting the daily lives of thousands of users.
What You'll Be Doing
- Plan and conduct annual inspections, including Full Load and Brake Tests, in accordance with local regulations
- Develop, update, and implement inspection procedures and testing standards to ensure consistent quality
- Coordinate inspection schedules and manage manpower deployment across multiple islandwide sites
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to confirm schedules and resolve on-site challenges
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues identified during inspections, and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes
- Contribute to the refinement of SOPs and promote best practices within the team
What They're Looking For
- Education: Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in lift inspections or lift engineering, with responsibilities at the engineer level
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local lift inspection regulations and standards
- Attributes: Solid employment track record; strong written and verbal communication skills; customer-focused mindset; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
