Our client, a well-known Japanese company is looking for candidates for the Line Engineering Technician position.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, inspect and service production equipment/machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, in accordance to PM protocols, to prevent equipment failure.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and/or process-related issues timely to maintain continuous production flow.
- Support process adjustment and improvement under the guidance of Engineers to enhance product quality and yield.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performances and operational incident/anomalies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, particularly towards chemical & complex machinery handling, so as to promote a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics & Robotics Engineering or Precision Engineering
- Min.
2 to 5 years hands-on experience in equipment maintenance.
- Background in semiconductor, electronics and/or high-precision manufacturing preferred.
- Skilled in line troubleshooting and rectification in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance routines and fundamental mechanical/electrical repairs.
- Experienced in cleanroom operations and ability to work in a cleanroom environment with the necessary clean-suit apparel and PPE.
- Comfortable with working in 12-hour (day or night) shift rotations and able to support overtime when necessary.
- Ability to adapt to structured work culture and documentation standards.
- Positive attitude towards challenges at work and a team-player who is able to work independently.
- Certification in EHS, ISO Quality Standards and/or Chemical Handling is an advantage.
