The company is looking for a highly motivated energetic person for the position of Linux System Administrators (Account Engineers) helping mobile operators to launch and maintain new mobile services based on Opencode technology.
Responsibilities
Project Engineering (installation, integration, testing, commissioning, live activation)
Account Engineering (live support, helpdesk, change requests, customer technical follow-up)
Operational Support (system monitoring, health-care, preventive maintenance, training)
Emergency Support (first level emergency, incident reporting and follow-up, first level support including on-call 24/7 as required)
On-site customer support when required
Ensure MOP and approval prior to implementation
Ensure on-time delivery of work
Maintain up-to-date, high-quality documentation
Contribute to product/documentation improvements based on customer experiences
Collaborate with project and product managers and teams
Support automation installation of customer platforms
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication
Ensure customer satisfaction while preserving company reputation
Identify and escalate sales needs
Pre-sales support (participate in tenders, proposals and meetings when available)
Grow with the team as it expands
Reporting to the Project Manager / Team Lead
Requirements
English is a must; second language is an advantage
2+ years of Computer and/or Telecom Engineering
Very good knowledge in Linux System Administration
Strong DB and SQL background, MySQL administration and maintenance
Strong background in networking and LAN technology
Very good core network knowledge
Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written
Ability to lead the job
Ability to work in an international environment
Ability to learn new technology and use it
Ability to work with schedules and deadlines
Teamwork, can-do attitude, assertive and approachable
Ability to specify and improve technical procedures for reuse and benefit
Ability to specify technology in a customer-friendly way
