Roles & Responsibilities Job Description
- Coordinate with customers and freight forwarders to arrange cost-effective shipments.
- Provide timely updates to both internal and external stakeholders regarding delivery schedules.
- Prepare shipping and delivery documentation, including Performa Invoices, Packing Lists, and Work Orders.
- Generate Material Request Forms for items issued from inventory.
- Update and track goods movement, including receiving and issuing of inventory.
- Participate in the pick and pack process to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
- Collaborate closely with various business units to support and achieve overall company objectives and performance targets.
- Manage inventory control and storekeeping for stock, spare parts, and compressor store.
- Maintain accurate records and control of workshop inventory.
- Prepare all necessary shipping documents and liaise with transport and logistics providers for scheduled shipments.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in logistics, shipping, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
- Experience in marine, oil & gas, or engineering industries is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of shipping documentation (e.g., Performa Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Basic understanding of Incoterms and international shipping procedures.
- Strong coordination and communication skills to liaise with internal teams, customers, and freight/logistics providers.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Physically fit and able to handle warehouse activities when required.
