Responsibilities
- Freight & Trade Compliance
- • Manage all shipping logistics: Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, liaise with freight forwarders to ensure service level agreements are met, and manage customs brokerage.
- Ensure trade compliance: Handle import/export licenses, permits, and clearance for controlled substances with regulatory authorities.
Serve as the point of contact for Customs officers and the Trade Compliance team on matters like HS codes and valuation.
- Operational Management & Optimization
- Drive logistics effectiveness: Proactively manage operations to optimize resource distribution and meet customer delivery expectations.
- Manage key logistics projects and initiate continuous improvement projects.
- Handle financial aspects: Take care of budgeting, analysis, and reporting related to logistics, including freight cost forecasting.
- Coordinate distribution: Plan and coordinate product, material, and sample distribution with internal teams (e.g., shipment requesters, material planners, distribution planning).
- Safety, Quality, and Compliance
- Ensure operational safety: This includes performing risk assessments and ensuring the safe transportation of dangerous goods in compliance with local regulations, IATA, and IMDG requirements.
- Manage licensed materials: Ensure all internal and external storage of licensed materials meets regulatory requirements.
- Address issues: Investigate and resolve logistics-related issues like insurance claims, customer complaints, and product returns; implement remedial actions.
- Manage quality documentation: Initiate and manage deviations (UE), Change Controls (CC), and CAPAs related to logistics and warehousing.
- Maintain SOPs: Establish, review, and manage the documentation cycle (SOPs, Work
- Instructions, training manuals) for shipping, packing, and freight management.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare shipping documents (Proforma Invoice, Packing List) using SAP or manual generation.
- Monitor performance: Conduct monthly KPI reporting to ensure optimal operational performance.
Requirements
- Degree in Logistic and Supply Chain
- 3-5 years of working experience in relevant experience
- Experience in SAP functions
- Good knowledge in cGMP
