We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to manage logistics operations independently.
This is a standalone role, ideal for someone who thrives in a self-managed environment and can take full ownership of logistics tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor transportation and delivery of materials for timeliness and compliance
- Handle loading/unloading, sorting, stocking, and packaging of goods
- Review and reconcile shipping documents and prepare paperwork (e.g., invoices, packing lists)
- Perform clerical duties including typing, proofreading, and editing logistics documents
- Maintain electronic filing systems for swift document retrieval
- Execute inventory control procedures and support audit readiness
- Refurnish retrieved goods and dispose of damaged items appropriately
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and ensure smooth documentation flow
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Requirements:
- Minimum ITE / GCE 'N' Level qualification
- At least 3 years of experience in logistics operations
- Proficient in inventory software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Able to work independently and manage tasks without supervision
- Capable of lifting heavy items
- Basic IT and networking knowledge is a plus
