Job Responsibilities:
- Handle customer enquiries and manage shipment bookings.
- Arrange and monitor space bookings to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate closely with the Import/Export Department for seamless job execution.
- Prepare and distribute pre-alerts to relevant stations before shipment arrivals and departures.
- Check daily shipment arrival and uplift details, keeping customers updated with accurate information
- Ensure all special customer requests and handling requirements are met.
- Communicate effectively with all parties using strong diplomacy and negotiation skills.
- Maintain proper filing systems and ensure accurate documentation.
- Build and foster strong working relationships with both internal teams and external customers.
Requirements:
- GCE ‘O’ levels
- 1 – 3 years relevant experience in freight forwarding
