What the role is:
ASSISTANT ENGINEER, TRAFFIC SCHEMES DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT (CIVIL)
What you will be working on:
You will be involved in site assessments and surveys to develop traffic and road safety engineering plans.
You will review traffic plans related to planned and operational changes to existing roads.
You need to be able to read and produce drawings for traffic schemes and special projects, including plans for approval or consultation purposes.
This involves creating sketches, using MicroStation, and providing drafting support for technical drawings of traffic schemes.
The AE must ensure and verify that the design of traffic schemes complies with LTA’s Guidelines and Standards.
This is a dynamic career for those who are technically trained and people-oriented.
What we are looking for:
Knowledge of Engineering principles.
Proficiency in MicroStation, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Ability to read sketches and produce drawings for traffic schemes and special projects in a timely manner.
Ability to file and update traffic scheme records.
Resourceful, independent, and self-motivated with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A team player with good interpersonal, written, and spoken communication skills.
