The Live Platform Intelligence team's mission is to use model-driven and data-driven methods to promote core indicators on LIVE revenue and creator engagement.
This includes:
- Building models for automated and intelligent operations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of TikTok Live supply end.
- Identifying and handling inappropriate user behavior and business anomalies to ensure the steady and ongoing operation of the TikTok Live business.
- Spearheading analytical excellence with a penchant for creative problem-solving.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2025.
PhD Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with the opportunity to actively contribute to our products and research, and to the organization's future plans and emerging technologies.
Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order you apply.

- Adopt cutting-edge Large Language Models that potentially improve business metrics (revenue and content quality), bringing an optimized experience for creators and operators in the live business.
- Dive deep into machine learning methods, including large language models (LLMs), multimodal models, and image/video generation models, adapting these methods to TikTok Live scenarios and serving as foundational models and features.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science.
- Familiarity with large language models and its applications
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a solid mathematics foundation.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with high-quality domain publications is preferred.
