About the Role
As a Machinist, you will play a key role in the production and rework of mechanical seal components.
You will operate manual and CNC machines, prepare welding prep-joints, and support assembly and testing activities.
This role offers hands-on exposure to advanced manufacturing processes, skill development, and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality engineering solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate manual lathes, drilling, sawing, and milling machines
- Run CNC turning machines and assist with basic CNC programming
- Prepare welding prep-joints for Gas panels (GSS & WSS)
- Machine mechanical seal components for new hardware and rework
- Support FCS production on sawing, drilling, milling, assembly, and testing
- Assist Quality team for internal and external F.A.T.
- Setup jobs on machines and design fixtures to support machining
- Maintain measuring equipment, gauges, and fixtures
- Perform daily 5S, Kaizen, and HSE activities
- Act as backup for CNC machinists and support loading needs
Requirements
- Candidates possess Professional certificate / NiTEC or equivalent.
- Able to operate CNC Turning machine and basic CNC Turning programming.
- Able to interpret technical drawing and specification.
- Maintain all measuring equipment, gauges, and fixture for machining use.
- Knowledge in manual lathe, drilling, sawing, and simple milling work.
