AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, including data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment.
We’re looking for talented people to help solve challenging problems and keep the cloud running for customers.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.
You’ll collaborate across AWS to maintain safety and security while delivering high capacity at low cost, in an inclusive culture that empowers you to own ideas to completion.
This role focuses on operation and maintenance of state‐of‐the‐art critical infrastructure facilities based in Singapore, with opportunities to work with experienced professionals and advance your career.
Responsibilities
Lead a team to plan and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, including but not limited to: chiller, AHU/CRAHU, FCU, ventilation fan, split AC, pumps, leak detection systems, roller shutters, power distribution boards, UPS batteries, and generators.
Develop site-specific documents such as maintenance checklists, EOPs, SOPs, and risk assessments (RA).
Prepare and submit service reports for preventive and breakdown maintenance work.
Ensure safe keeping of hand tools and maintain good housekeeping.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with established standards, procedures, and local regulations.
Perform other tasks as required by the immediate manager.
Basic Qualifications
Technical College Degree, Qualified Technical Diploma, or NITEC Certification.
Enthusiastic about the maintenance of data centers or critical facilities.
Ability to manage priorities effectively in a complex and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree, Diploma, or NITEC in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Building Services, Facilities Management, or related engineering discipline.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Proficiency in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers (e.g., Chillers, AHU/CRAHU, ACMV, Pumps, Leak detection systems, Roller shutters, PDUs, UPS/batteries, Generators).
