Position Overview
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Management Trainee to join our Central Kitchen.
This is an exciting opportunity to learn and develop in all aspects of kitchen management, from food preparation to team leadership, and progress into a managerial role.
Key Responsibilities
- Kitchen Operations: Assist in managing day-to-day kitchen activities, ensuring efficient food production, smooth workflow, and top-notch food quality.
- Team Management: Support in supervising kitchen staff, training new team members, and ensuring staff are adhering to operational procedures.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Quality & Consistency: Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and adherence to company recipes and food safety standards.
- Customer Focus: Ensure that all dishes are prepared and delivered according to customer specifications, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Process Improvement: Suggest improvements to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and reduce waste in the kitchen.
- Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, tracking team performance, and maintaining operational records and reports.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a fast-casual kitchen environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or manage a team, with a focus on motivating staff and maintaining a positive, productive environment.
- Strong focus on food quality, portion control, and operational efficiency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with flexibility.
- Genuine passion for cooking, food quality, and kitchen management.
- Ability to address and resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively.
Preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
