What the role is
As Assistant / Manager of the IHO-Singapore Lab, you will assist the General Manager in the following areas:
To assist and support all executive works in formulating and implementing strategies for IHO-Singapore Lab;
To engage other international hydrographic administrations in identifying and collaborating on key projects
To facilitate and support the IHO-Singapore Lab's operations
What you will be working on
The key duties and responsibilities are:
To assist and support all executive works in formulating and implementing strategies for IHO-Singapore Lab
Coordinate and work with Governing Board, both internal and external stakeholders and assist the General Manager in drafting the proposed work plan for the laboratory.
Perform and present periodic reviews and reports on the status of the work plan during stakeholders' meetings and Governing Board meetings.
To engage other international hydrographic administrations in identifying and collaborating on key projects
Engage other Hydrographic Offices, Regional ENC Coordinating Centres (RENCs) and industry stakeholders to be in an environment to consolidate and collaborate on identified technical issues.
Share results of efforts freely to further enhance global navigational safety.
To facilitate and support the IHO-Singapore Lab's operations
Provide support for the day-to-day operations of the IHO-Singapore Lab.

About Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) was established on 2 February 1996, with the mission to develop Singapore as a premier global hub port and international maritime centre (IMC), and to advance and safeguard Singapore's strategic maritime interests.
