We are seeking an Aspiring Actuary with a strong technical foundation and a keen interest in expanding their scope beyond traditional actuarial areas.
This is a unique opportunity to explore Financial Advisor (FA) channel management and distributor compensation, combining your analytical expertise with direct exposure to key business growth and revenue-generating projects.
Position Responsibilities:
Technical Project Support: Provide technical and analytical support for growth-related projects, including those spanning recruitment, compensation design and changes, and campaign/budget allocation matters.
Business Impact Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of the key performance indicators (KPIs) of the distribution channel and analyze how various strategic initiatives and roll-outs will impact them.
Stakeholder & Governance Management: Support the project lead in all aspects of stakeholder management, including preparing materials for governance committee approvals and proactively ensuring the timely follow-up on action items.
End-to-End Project Execution: Participate in a team that executes strategic projects from ideation through to final approvals and communication to the salesforce, allowing you to witness the direct impact of your analysis on the front-line.
Strategy Team Support: Provide support to the broader strategy team in key areas, including performance management, internal communications, and campaign approvals.
Required Qualifications:
Experience Level: Candidates with 4 or more years of actuarial experience are welcome to apply.
A broad range of experience across various actuarial domains is highly valued.
Strong Quantitative Acumen: Proven experience in modelling and a quick grasp of numerical concepts.
Examples of relevant experience include: pricing, product development, sales compensation design, budget management, and capital modelling.
Business Curiosity & Drive: A keen interest in exploring new business areas, a strong motivation for executing and solving complex problems, and the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
